Dizzee Rascal prefers a bucket to a portaloo

Dizzee Rascal prefers to urinate in a bucket at festivals.

The 'Bonkers' rapper avoids portable toilets at music events and would rather use the household item to relieve himself.

When asked about his festival essentials, he replied: "First aid kit. Condoms – stay safe man. And a bucket – leave them toilets alone."

Despite being uncomfortable with less-than-hygienic conditions, Dizzee insists he is excited about playing the world famous Glastonbury festival in the UK later this month.

He added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It's going to be a lot of fun – anyone who knows anything about me and my shows knows there's a lot of energy. When I do a show I give everything.

"I'm not one of those rappers who is up on stage high on weed. I give as much as I can."

Dizzee – real name Dylan Mills – recently revealed he once had a festival set interrupted by a fan wanting to give him a marijuana-filled cigarette.

He said: "I get some crazy fans at the festivals. I was on stage recently and a guy ran on just to give me a spliff! He didn't say anything - he was just a hit-and-run spliff guy. It was great!"
