Dolly Parton has offered to adopt a lost dog that was named after her after being found at this year's Glastonbury festival.
The white Lurcher, named Dolly in honour of the country star's incredible Glasto set, was found in a tent during the clean-up of the Worthy Farm festival site, and it currently being cared for at the nearby Happy Landings Animal Shelter.
Taking to Facebook, the 'Nine To Five' singer said: "Well, I heard about the dog that was abandoned after Glastonbury Festival (official) this year that's since been named after me...
"I had my manager call the Happy Landings Animal Shelter to make sure the dog is being treated and cared for properly, and if nobody claims her, I'll take her back home to America! Ain't she cute?"
Here is said dog.
In a message on its website, Happy Landings said Dolly the dog is a "sweet-natured older lady" who arrived with a "serious ear infection".
They have received numerous phone calls from people worried about the dog, after her story came out.
