Dolly Parton thinks Reese Witherspoon would need a 'big old boob job' in order to play her in a movie.
There has been intense speculation that a movie based on the country singing legend's life is in the pipeline. After Reese won the best actress Oscar for her portrayal of Johnny Cash's wife June Carter in 2005 movie Walk the Line, it was thought she would be perfectly placed to play Dolly.
The 65-year-old agrees Reese would be fantastic, although she thinks she'd need a boost in a certain department if she wanted to look authentic.
'That [a biopic] would be great and there's been talk of it, but we will see. There would have to be two or three different actors ' a young Dolly, a teenage one and then maybe I could play the old one,' she mused to Q magazine.
'There were rumours about Reese Witherspoon being up for the role but we'd have to get her a big old boob job or a big old bra. I'm actually writing my life story as a musical and I want [The West Wing actress] Kristin Chenoweth to play me. People have asked, 'What about Taylor Swift?' but she's too tall, too slim and has no boobs. She's like a supermodel. You'd have to saw her legs off at the knee and get her a boob job to play me!'
Dolly is famed for her pneumatic chest, which is the result of breast augmentation. She also loves wearing make-up and having her hair properly styled, although she knows not everyone is a fan of her look.
The star is used to people having opinions about her appearance, explaining she is stared at everywhere she goes.
''ve slapped a few people who didn't stare at them!' she joked, when asked if she's ever slapped anyone who looked at her chest. 'This kind of money, they'd better be looking at them. No, I've not insured my boobs. I just paid $1 million for them and I hope they look like a million dollars too!'
