Dot Allison has announced a one off show as a special guest to Rough Trade band Aberfeldy on September, 14 2006 at Bush Hall, 310 Uxbridge Road, London, W12 7LJ.

Dot's EP which has been described by Andy Weatherall as sounding like “The Velvets meet Emmylou Harris” features acoustic guitar, violin and banjo backings as provided by fellow musicians, Chris Rotter on guitar (ex-Two Lone Swordsmen), Ian Button 6 & 12 string acoustic guitar (ex-Death In Vegas) and Lucy Wilkins, violin and vocals (Massive Attack) and is released September 5th.
