Dr. Dre is taking his producing talents to cable network FX, as executive producer of a new crime drama.
Dre's script development deal with FX includes writer Sidney Quashi, who will also be executive producer for the project, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The hour-long show will combine crime and the music business in Los Angeles. The project will be a part of Dr. Dre's Crucial TV branch of Crucial Films.
In March it was announced that Dre's Crucial Films would be producing the horror flick Thaw. The music mogul launched Crucial Films in 2007 with New Line and now is in association with Warner Bros.
