Dub Pistols on the road

Fusing blistering beats with dubwise bass, slick rhymes and punk attitude, Dub Pistols have spent the last decade making the party jump. Originally a studio based duo, featuring bassist & production master Jason O'Bryan and DJ & all-round bon vivant Barry Ashworth, the band has grown over the years, becoming the 7 piece live powerhouse responsible for their third (and finest) long player, 'Speakers And Tweeters'.

With their forthcoming single, an audacious cover of Blondie's 'Rapture', featuring the laconic vocals of 2 Tone legend Terry Hall, due for release on the 2nd April and the album dropping a week later on Rob da Bank's illustrious Sunday Best label, the band are gearing up to take their high-octane live spectacle on a country-wide tour.

The band's set will take in tracks from across their career plus some very special cover versions. The band will also be making appearances at several festivals over the course of the summer including the Isle Of Skye Festival, Glastonbury and Bestival.
