Duran Duran will be busy in 2011 with the release of their 13th album All You Need is Now. Produced by Mark Ronson, the album will be released digitally on December 21 and on CD in February.
Keyboard player Nick Rhodes told Spinner "It's the best record we've made in over two decades" and that seems to be making the group want to recreate more media from their most popular era. "One thing I can say is that we will be making videos for every track on the album, which is something we certainly haven't done since the very beginning. We feel that visual material and content now is actually becoming of value again."
Not only was the quality of the music a big influence on the group's decisions, but also the resurgence of high quality and innovative music videos in the marketplace. Rhodes continued "Because of our background being not just music, but art, fashion, design, technology, we are looking to do something more extraordinary with this album. I hope that they will be thought-provoking, modern, funky, funny and emotional."
