Earl Sweatshirt has cancelled the majority of his upcoming North American and European tour dates.
He was scheduled for an impressive series of headline shows and festivals throughout July and August.
However, the LA-based rapper is limiting himself to an appearance at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on 20 July 2014.
Seemingly burnt out from life on the road, he tweets: "I am physically and mentally at the end of my rope. I weigh a fraction of what I'm supposed to."
The good news for fans though is that he's turning his focus to recording. "Now that I am home I can get healthy and get this album out to y'all while it's still fresh" he tweets.
In addition to making music as Earl Sweatshirt, the rapper releases material and performs under and member of hip hop collective Odd Future, who are due to support Eminem at Wembley Stadium this weekend. There has been no confirmation as to whether he will perform with them this weekend.
