Eric Wright Jr. son of late rap pioneer Eazy-E was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies in Compton on Saturday night. The 22 year-old was pulled over for a traffic violation around 6:30 PM on Compton Boulevard. Deputies found a firearm in his position and he was placed under arrest. Two passengers were also arrested according to the Sheriff's Dept. One was charged with possession of a firearm and the other for a probation violation.
Wright is the oldest son of Eazy-E, a founding member of N.W.A. who died in 1995 of AIDS. According to Wikipedia, Wright grew up in the same house as his famous father and is a member of Kelly Park Compton Crips. Wright plans to release his debut album, "The Prince Of Compton" this summer under the stage name of Lil' Eazy-E on his Kings of L.A. record label which he owns and operates with his business partners Bruce" Bruiser" Bible and Pete Farmer.
