As 2014 enters its final month, music streaming service Napster takes a look back at the UK and the world's favourite songs and artists this year, and how Napster users' listening habits have evolved across the globe.
After analysing over 10 million hours of music streams from this year the data revealed the five most popular artists in the UK in order to be: Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Sam Smith, Paolo Nutini and One Direction.
The top five songs showed the UK's eclectic taste in music with Rather Be by Clean Bandit taking the top spot followed by All of Me (John Legend), Waves (Mr. Probz), Let it Go (Idina Menzel) and Happy (Pharrell Williams).
