Sir Elton John and David Furnish want their son Zachary to learn from their unconventional family.
The couple welcomed their first child into the world on Christmas Day last year (25.12.10), and the 48-year-old filmmaker hopes he will take on board the message of their new film 'Gnomeo and Juliet' by understanding there are many different kinds of people in the world.
Speaking on the special green carpet at the film's UK premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square, David told BANG Showbiz: 'We're really excited when he'll be old enough to see it. It's a wonderful message that we'd love him to learn about. It's important to love people for what they are and everybody in life should get along.'
'Gnomeo and Juliet' ' a retelling of the classic Shakespeare play 'Romeo and Juliet' with the quaint garden ornaments ' is the third film Elton, 63, has written the music for, and he admits having Zachary has made him think about other children's films he could become involved in.
He said: 'We'd love to do more. We've done 'Lion King', 'Road to El Dorado' and this one. I love doing this it's great.
' hope with this film the same thing happens as well. It's great to be able to write some things for kids and we're open to it.'
Other stars to walk the carpet ' which was bedecked with gnomes, dancers and oversized flowers - for the film included Elizabeth Hurley and her eight-year-old Damian, troubled pop star Boy George and stylist Trinny Woodall.
Actress Emily Blunt ' who voices one of the lead characters ' was also in attendance, though her co-star James McAvoy did not make an appearance.
