The 63-year-old singer was at the London premiere of his new movie with partner David Furnish when they gushed about their baby son Zachary, who was born on Christmas Day.
Furnish said to UK newspaper Daily Mirror: 'There haven't been too many sleepless nights actually. We divide everything up equally, half and half, so no one gets too tired. Even nappy duty is 50-50, we both do our share!'
The Rocket Man himself added: 'We love him, and we're just so happy. He's wonderful. He couldn't be here today unfortunately, because he's in LA and couldn't be moved.
'We're missing him terribly. But we couldn't miss this here today - this film has been 11 years in the making. I'm so proud of the movie. And when Zachary's a bit older, maybe in five years' time, we cannot wait to sit down with him and watch it altogether.'
