The rock legend and his partner David Furnish flew to Allen's celebration in Gloucestershire - but first touched down at the wrong event, sources told Page Six.
'Black-tie guests at a fancy nuptials near Allen's were surprised to see a grinning Elton pop up unannounced before he was told it was the wrong wedding,' the source said.
'They took off again and headed over to Allen's fete,' a witness told Page Six.
However Elton's spokesperson insisted: 'From what I can find out, this story isn't true.'
