Eltons beloved Watford Football Club is reaping the benefits of having Elton John as a diehard fan.
John is planning a fund-raising concert next year to help the Watford buy back its stadium.
He is working to put together a show June 18th of next year, with all the proceeds going to help Watford. The team was forced to sell the stadium two years ago and is still in financial difficulty.
The team needs ten-point-eight million dollars to get its stadium back. John has been a lifelong fan of the team and he says he's confident Watford will come through. The chairman of the club, Graham Simpson, calls it "absolutely fantastic news."
