Sir Elton John and David Furnish have reportedly welcomed their second child into the world.
The British singer and his partner are already parents to two-year-old Zachary, who was born using a surrogate mother on Christmas Day in 2010.
It has been suggested the couple used the same woman to have their second baby.
Sources have confirmed the new arrival to New York Posts' Los Angeles correspondent Richard Johnson. No further details about the baby are known at the moment, although in November there were reports the child was a boy.
Elton's spokesperson Fran Curtis has refused to talk about the report, only saying: "We never discuss our clients' personal lives."
There is speculation Elton and David will introduce their son to the world via the pages of Us Weekly, just as they did when Zachary was born.
Last year, Elton admitted he was hoping to give Zachary a sibling.
"We definitely will have another one. At what stage we don't know, but we definitely will. I don't want him to be an only child," he said.
He also expressed concerns about what things will be like for Zachary when he grows up, as he has two fathers. While that is a fear for Elton, he tries to focus on how much fatherhood has enriched his life.
"I regret a little bit that I didn't do it sooner, but he has changed our lives. Everything is about him now. He's gorgeous, he travels brilliantly, he so loves people, and it makes our lives - he's the icing on the cake," he gushed.
