The Complete 50Œs Albums Collection includes all nine sets released by RCA and Presley between 1956 and 1959 including studio albums, soundtracks and greatest hits sets.

Also out today in remastered editions are the collection The Essential Elvis Presley and the set Elvis at Stax.
All of the Elvis activity revolves around Elvis Week in Memphis (August 10 through 17) and Presleyfs naming as Legacy Recordingfs Artist of the Month for August.
This is the first time that Legacy Recordings and iTunes have collaborated on music releases coinciding with gElvis Week.h The official Elvis At Stax Listening Party will take place at the Stax Museum in Memphis on August 13. The Q&A session will be attended by famed Nashville musician/producer Norbert Putnam (who originally played on the December sessions at Stax), as well as reissue co-producer Ernst Mikael Jorgensen, the respected director of RCAfs Presley catalog for over two decades, and the author of the critical research guide, Elvis Presley: A Life In Music (St. Martinfs Press, 1998).
