Eminem has taken legal action against Apple Computers because one of their televisions commercials for iTunes used lyrics from one of his songs without permission.
In the advertisement, a 10 year old child is heard singing along to Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' although the original Eminem track is not used.
Attorney's for Eminem state that the rapper has never endorsed a product and if he were to do so, his fee could range upwards of $US10million.
The advertisement ran on MTV in the USA for three months and could also be streamed from Apple's website.
Action is also being taken against Viacom, the owner of MTV and the advertising agency that produced the commercial.
According to iTune's download chart, 'Lose Yourself' is their No. 41 biggest seller of the last 24 hours.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
