Eminem has released the first song from his upcoming 'Recovery' album. The song is 'Not Afraid'.
'Not Afraid' is the first single from 'Recovery', the replacement album for the dumped 'Relapse 2'.
'Relapse' was released a year ago with the plan to release the second album not long after. After numerous delays in releasing part 2, Eminem decided to go with 'Recovery' instead.
"I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year," remarked Eminem. "But as I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album. The music on Recovery came out very different from Relapse, and I think it deserves its own title."
'Recovery' features first time Eminem collaborators DJ Khalil, Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin and Boi-1da.
Eminem has sold an amazing 78,000,000 albums to date, with the first three albums selling over 10,000,000 each in the USA alone.
'Recovery' will be released on June 18.
