But according to one red-top The X Factor bosses are in talks to get Eminem on the show to team up with Cher Lloyd. "There has been a lot of talk about Eminem," a show "insider" said. "That would really give us an amazing moment on the show, like when Beyonce sang with Alex Burke. Last week's guest artist will.i.am is being lined up as a back-up. Failing that we're sure Jedward would be happy to help out (Daily Star).

The bad weather continues to grip the nation so much so that Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher was reportedly unable to open a pop-up store for his Pretty Green label yesterday (December 8). Heavy snow prevented the former Oasis singer from heading to the highlands until next week. Fortunately he managed to open a pop-up shop back home in Manchester (The Sun).
Cheryl Cole has gone all religious after enduring her "worst ever year" - if one rag is to be believed. Sources say The X Factor judge has turned to faith following her battle with malaria and marriage split with Chelsea defender Ashley Cole (The Sun).
Professor Green just can't keep away from sharp objects, we read this morning. The rapper recently got up close and personal with some razor-toothed killer sharks for a stunt in Channel 4's celebrity challenge series Live And Lost. "They weren't little sharks, they were big enough to eat [me]," boasted Green. "It was scary but amazing" (The Sun).
Kylie Minogue is apparently "desperate" to play a festival next summer but she's unsure whether Glastonbury will be on her hit list. "I don't know if anything's happening with Glastonbury," she admitted. "I love the idea of doing a festival though" (Daily Star).
Paul McCartney has another record for his CV. He sold out his homecoming Christmas shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo and Liverpool's O2 Academy in seconds. The two gigs were the fastest-selling shows ever for both venues (various)
