Eminem unveils Shady XV + Sia collaboration 'Guts Over Fear'

Eminem has announced the release date of a double album Shady XV and has unveiled his stunning new track with Sia, 'Guts Over Fear'. Listen to it below. 

Unveiled on Twitter during the MTV VMAs, Shady XV is a new compilation that will be released on 24 November. The double album including one disc of Greatest Hits and one of new tracks featuring collaborations with Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, D-12 and Bad Meets Evil.

It's not the rapper's first career retrospective – his first collection Curtain Call came out in 2005 – but Shady XV should offer further fan treats, including the first track 'Guts Over Fear' featuring Sia. Lyrically it focuses on the cathartic experience of hip-hop and the need to persevere against the odds - although tellingly it does tell of the MC's primary struggle to relate this experience in a different fashion. As openings go, “Sometimes I feel like all I ever do is / Find different ways to word the same old song,” rarely fills anyone with confidence.
