One of the most legendary film composers of all time, Academy Award® winner Ennio Morricone will return to London in April to perform his Classic Film Soundtracks as part of the 5th anniversary of ATP Concerts' Don't Look Back season.
Since 2005 All Tomorrow's Parties have invited legendary performers to present their most classic works live, with past shows including Sonic Youth 'Daydream Nation' (Time Out's Gig Of The Year, 2007), Slint 'Spiderland' and Belle & Sebastian 'If You're Feeling Sinister'.
Morricone has achieved worldwide fame for his unforgettable scores for films including the 'Fistful Of Dollars' trilogy, 'The Good, The Bad And The Ugly', 'Once Upon A Time In The West', 'Once Upon A Time In America', 'The Mission', 'The Untouchables', 'Cinema Paradiso' and hundreds more. More recently his work was used in Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill' and 'Inglorious Bastards.' He has been nominated for 5 Oscars, and in 2007 he was awarded a rare honorary Academy Award® "for his magnificent and multifaceted contributions to the art of film music."
