The 35-year-old pop hunk has inherited his music superstar father Julio’s good looks and silky vocals, but he isn’t so sure if he possesses as much stamina as his hardworking role model.
At the age of 67, Julio continues touring across the globe performing for fans, and is as big a star now as he was during his 1970s heyday. Enrique is at the peak of his career right now, but the handsome singer isn’t planning on crooning well into old age.
“I don't know if I will do that,” admitted the star. “I mean, I'm 35 now and I think when I get to my 50s, that's when I will lay back and take it easy.”
Despite looking forward to an early retirement, the singer admits he could change his mind in time. Enrique’s passion for music and love of performing may still spur him on to perform in later life.
“That's what I think now but maybe not. Ask me again when I'm 67 like my dad," he laughed.
