Enrique Iglesias says his party ways have changed

Enrique Iglesias needs a week to recover from a night partying.

The 36-year-old crooner is famed for a string of successful party hits, such as I Like It and Bailamos, with many of his music promos showing him enjoying a night out clubbing.

The heartthrob knows he has a reputation for being a party animal, although admits nowadays it's a pastime he indulges in less and less.

'Yes, I still go out,' he replied when the British edition of OK! magazine asked if he still parties hard.

'But I am the sort of person that can party all day and then I won't need to go clubbing for another month.

' don't handle drink very well either so I need a week to get over that!'

Many of Enrique's hits portray him as somewhat of a ladies' man too, and although he has been dating stunning tennis star Anna Kournikova for many years, he has spoken in the past about his lack of success with women as a youngster. The star has been reflecting on his former romantic status, and thinks it's tragic that ladies who rejected him came back his way once he was a star.

'Oh yes, I was the king of heartbroken as a teenager,' lamented Enrique.

' was never the heartbreaker. I just couldn't get laid. Years later, lots of the girls that rejected me came back just because I was famous. It's actually kind of sad.'
