Reflecting on their time together, the True Blood actress said, 'I mean, dating Marilyn Manson, it's kind of impossible to keep that out of the spotlight. He had a hand in raising me.'
News of the couple's relationship emerged in 2007. In January this year the rocker popped the question on-stage in Paris, but the duo split later in the year.
The 23-year-old told Nylon they remain pals, explaining, 'I'm always gonna love that guy. He's a genius, he's an amazing artist, we're still friends. Some things just aren't meant to be.'
