Evanescence are due to make their return with a new album and single in the autumn.
'The Open Door', which was recorded in Los Angeles, is set for release on October 2.
The follow up to 2003's 'Fallen' features a choir and strings recorded in an old chapel on several songs.
Speaking about the recording sessions, singer Amy Lee said: "The making of this record has been really intense, but I've come out feeling purified. I've grown so much since 'Fallen', and Terry (Balsamo) is the perfect writing partner - I feel like I've been lifted up to a whole new level of inspiration and possibilities."
Prior to the album release, Evanescence will unleash new single 'Call Me When You're Sober' as a digital download on September 4 before its official release on September 25.document.write(unescape("
