Fall Out Boy Joined By Courtney Love On 'Save Rock And Roll'

There's the way things are done, and then there's the way Courtney Love things are done.

In her patented kiss-with-a- fist style, Love announced that she'll be joining Fall Out Boy on their upcoming comeback album, Save Rock and Roll,
 in a most unusual, and aggressive way.

The surprise hook-up was revealed via a cheeky six-second YouTube video the band tweeted out on Wednesday.

Comprised of a quick-cut of classic images of Love in her grunge goddess heyday alongside late Nirvana frontman husband Kurt Cobain, the clip features the Britney Spears-baiting tagline, "It's Courtney Bitch" splashed across the screen. It also appears to offer a sneak preview of the collabo in the form of the drumstick rattling shout-along chorus, "Rat a tat tat, rat a tat tat."

Wentz had teased the Love guest spot on Wednesday, tweeting, "wanna guess what blonde hair singer we got on the record?"

The band's fifth album, due out on April 15, has already raised eyebrows for its first unexpected guest, rapper 2 Chainz, who stars in the video
 for the first single, "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'Em Up)."
 Singer Patrick Stump sparked speculation that none other than rock icon Sir Elton John would drop by for the proceedings thanks to a photo he posted last week of the pair mugging in a recording studio. The caption of the pic was, "#saverockandroll #sireltonjohn." Wentz confirmed that news on Wednesday before making the Love reveal.

On Friday (March 22), Wentz took to Twitter again, writing, "Just watched a cut of a new video of our -- pretty insane. Can't wait to put it out." At press time it was not known which song the new video is for.
