FATBOY SLIM has pulled out of an appearance at the Snowbombing Festival to stay in rehab.
The DJ, real name Norman Cook, has cancelled his set at the Austrian festival because of his ongoing battle with alcohol.
He checked into a rehab centre in the south of England at the start of the month to treat and overcome his addiction.
But his management said it is taking longer than expected, resulting in him putting his career on hold for the time being.
Cook, 45, said: "I'm choked to be missing out on it but I hope Snowbombing will have me back for another crack at it next year. Sorry to let you down, folks."
The tenth anniversary event in Mayrhofen will be headlined by 2 Many DJs and also features Dizzee Rascal, Grandmaster Flash, Biffy Clyro, Ladyhawke, Mylo, The View, and Zane Lowe.
