Fatboy Slim has found himself unable to do anything to stop the Labour Party using hit single ‘Right Here, Right Now' as their election anthem.
Tony Blair has been blasting the single from Labour's campaign bus, and used it as he arrived onstage at the party conference. But despite protestations from Fatboy, real name Norman Cook, and label Skint Records, parties are free to use any music they want, despite Cook's strong anti-war stance.
Cook commented: "With Blair in charge, I reckon my remix of Wildchild's 'Renegade Master' would have been more suitable in the circumstances."
Fatboy Slim's music was also commandeered by US politician Al Gore who used ‘Praise You' in his 2000 campaign.
