Fatboy Slim has thanked the people of Brighton for attending his New Year beach party, despite the "cold, wet, dangerous" conditions reports Launch.
Around 20,000 people braved terrible weather in the town yesterday for the dance DJ's "Big Beach Boutique 3".
Fatboy, real name Norman Cook, was apparently electrocuted a number of times during his performance, but has heralded the event a complete success.
He told the BBC: "I love the people of Brighton - they stood there and took everything the elements could chuck at them and still partied on."
