Tonight at 7pm Fearless Vampire Killers' co-frontman Kier Kemp will be taking part in a live debate with John Snow on the Channel 4 news.
The programme will be discussing the news that from today Greater Manchester police will now be recording attacks against members of alternative subcultures, such as goths emos, punks and metallers as Hate Crimes.
This follows the murder of Sophie Lancaster five years ago who was kicked to death for being a goth.
GMP's policy change follows consultation with The Sophie Lancaster Foundation who have been campaigning for the hate crimes remit to be extended to include people from different subcultures since Sophie's death in 2007.
Fearless Vampire Killers have always been active and vocal supporters of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation and are very pleased that today Sophie's family and friends have reached such a milestone in their campaigning work.
