Final Fantasy Rhythm Game Set For Nintendo 3DS

Sqaure Eniz have announced that Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is to be released on the Nintendo 3DS.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy mixes the rhythm genre with battle scenes, where players have to tap the stylus alongside on-screen prompt to fight, Jump reports.

Cloud, from Final Fantasy VII and Lightning, from Final Fantasy XIII, have been confirmed for the game, with characters being drawn in a chibi art style.

Traditional Final Fantasy elements, such as dungeons, towns and side-view battle screens, will also feature.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has yet to be given a release date.
