Flavor Flav reportedly hurled his fiancée on the floor more than once during a violent altercation this week.
The 53-year-old Public Enemy rapper and Flavor of Love reality TV star was taken into custody early Wednesday morning in Las Vegas.
He was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanour domestic violence.
TMZ reveals that according to the police report on the incident Flav "threw his fiancée to the ground" and "ripped out her earring".
The physical violence ensued after his 39-year-old wife-to-be accused him of cheating on her. Flav then pitched her to the floor.
Flav's fiancée's 17-year-old son stepped in to protect his mother. The troubled musician then grabbed two knives and chased the young man around the house with them.
While wielding these weapons he reportedly threatened the teenager's life.
Flav has denied harming his fiancée's son in any manner.
He has posted his $23,000 bail and is now out of jail.
Flav is due in court on the matter next week.
