With the biggest selling UK debut album of the year to date under her belt, Florence and the Machine announces a series of live shows to round off what has been a truly exceptional 2009.
Florence will be playing live at tonight's Mercury Music Award ceremony where her album 'Lungs' has been nominated. Florence has wowed and won over crowds at all of the summer festivals over the last few months. Her performance at Bestival this coming weekend marks the end of the festival season before she takes 'Lungs' on the road for the first time at the end of September. This tour culminates in 3 sold out Shepherds Bush Empire dates in London September 27, 28 and 29.
The December tour sees her raise her game yet again with a massive show at Brixton Academy on December 13. Florence will headline the venue less than a year since opening there for the NME Tour at the head of the year.
