The 25-year-old lead singer of band Florence and the Machine admitted she likes to end her shows on time and doesn't like to return to the stage for another track.
She told The Sun-Herald: 'I don't think you should do two. One is OK, but two, no way.
'I think I wouldn't do an encore if it wasn't your own show. I think an encore is perfectly acceptable, but I find it so weird when people do two or three.'
However the star can see why performers choose to do an encore.
She said: 'I can understand, but I quite like the drama of an encore. I think [an encore is for] those artists who are inclined to do dramatic gestures, and I certainly would say I am inclined toward them.'
