The lead singer of British band Florence And The Machine opens up to Newsweek Magazine about her private life.
'I wonder what it would be like if I were a male rock star?' she muses about splitting from her long-term boyfriend.
'Maybe I just could be like, 'F*** it' and keep someone hanging there. [But] it doesn't feel right. And I definitely don't have groupies.
'The evening always ends with me and my friend in my hotel room watching romantic comedies going, 'We're never getting married'.'
It's not the first time the 25-year-old songstress has split from her ex. Their previous break-up inspired the band's first album, Lungs.
The group are about to start a two-year world tour promoting their second album Ceremonials.
The You’ve Got The Love singer says: 'When I get onstage and I start singing, it does all make sense. For a second, you're absolved and everything is soaring upwards.
'And then it kind of sucks because you're just yourself again. Incorrigibly yourself.'
