Foo Fighters ball busting record

Dave Grohl spoke of the new Foo Fighters LP, saying it'll be the 'best balls-out record' the band have ever made.

Fresh from getting his long-running metal project Probot into shops, with the album debuting at number 36 this week on the UK Top 40 Albums chart, Grohl said the follow up to 2002's Grammy winning 'One By One' would take a more grandiose route during recording:

"We're going to make the best balls-out record we've ever made, and we're going to make it in a studio," Grohl said to Billboard. "We're not used to studios, only basements."

"We've got a couple of songs," he added. "The thing is, we always get excited to make a new record, because it means we'll go back out on the road and have a good time for a year-and-a-half."

As with its predecessor, the record will be released by RCA records.
