Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl has criticised Glee creator Ryan Murphy.
The frontman has said that Murphy shouldn't think that everybody wants to do Glee and that it should be a band's right to choose whether or not their songs should appear on the show.
''You shouldn't have to do f*cking Glee. And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we're not, like, begging to be on his f*cking show... I watched ten minutes [of it]. It's not my thing, " Grohl told he Hollywood Reporter.
He added: ''Slash was the first one. [Murphy] wanted to do Guns N' Roses, and Slash is like, 'I hate f*cking musicals. It's worse than Grease'. Then [Murphy's] like, 'Well, of course he'd say that. He's a washed-up ol' rock star. That's what they f*cking do'.''
"And then Kings of Leon say, 'No, we don't want to be on your show'. And then he's like, 'Snotty little a*sholes…' And it's just like, 'Dude, maybe not everyone loves Glee. Me included'."
Meanwhile, Foo Fighters have announced details of a one-off gig in aid of the recent victims of the New Zealand earthquake.
