Foo Fighters play new songs

Foo Fighters have played a handful of new songs from their forthcoming album In Your Honour for the first time during an outdoor show in Sydney.

The band are currently on a whirlwind trip of Australia, playing a number of free gigs for the public and competition winners to promote the release in Sydney and Melbourne.

Around 2000 fans gathered in to the Fox Studios complex in Moore Park to watch the band play a 50 minute set, which included two new songs during soundcheck, Dave Grohl playing a solo rendition of ‘Everlong' as well as crowd favourites ‘My Hero' and ‘All My Life'.

The band also revealed they will return to Australia to tour later in the year.
