Overview
Two of Europe's biggest festivals have announced one hell of a line-up for 2015, with Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Frank Turner and more confirmed to play Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park next year.
To celebrate 30 years of Rock Am Ring and 20 years of Rock Im Park, the two German sister festivals have announced the following line-up for 2015:

So it looks like Foo Fighters and Slipknot will be doing the rounds of European festivals, in the same month as Download and Glastonbury. Make of that what you will.
Rock Im Park takes place in Zeppelinfield in Nurnberg while Rock Am Ring takes place in Mendig Vulkaneifel, with both festivals running from 5 - 7 July, 2015. Tickets go on sale at 9am German time (8am UK time) on 6 October.
