Foo Fighters will headline the Main Stage at Balado across the weekend of 8th, 9th & 10thJuly,2011.
In a recent NME piece revealing the first details of their seventh studio album, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl said, "I want to play the album at night live in front of (tens of thousands of) people. It's a festival album because it f**king rocks!" Grohl will do exactly that as the Foo Fighters put in yet another stadium calibre performance at this year's T in the Park, debuting new material from their forthcoming seventh album alongside anthems from their multi-platinum, multiple Grammy-winning catalogue. The TITP crowd is sure to go home satisfied and exhausted, and nursing throats sore from singing along with the likes of The Pretender, Best of You, All My Life, Learn To Fly, Everlong and more.
Geoff Ellis (Festival Director) said: 'Once again we are proud to bring one of the world's biggest and most influential rock bands to Balado. As well as being a personal favourite and a band that T in the Park fans continually praise, Foo Fighters are one of the best festival headliners on the planet and I'm delighted we have them for T in the Park 2011.'
