Foxy Brown Blows Off NYC Show

Foxy Brown sure is a diva. The singer showed up for a NYC performance nearly four hours late, Axl Rose-style. The reason for Miss Brown's tardiness? She didn't like the car the promoters sent to pick her up. D to the i-v-a!

Brown was scheduled to perform at Splash Bar New York in Manhattan on Wednesday night, but the promoters of the gig told TMZ that they got an angry call from her people that night when the car they sent to pick her up arrived. Seems Foxy had requested a 2010 model SUV, but instead she got a 2009. Oh the humanity.

Brown eventually acquiesced and accepted the 2009 model, but ended up at the club 30 minutes before it closed and never got a chance to take the stage. She said the promoters failed to pay her the other half of her appearance fee. Her rep later released a statement that read: "They promised they would give her the rest of the deposit and balance due when she arrived, but did not! Foxy was disappointed that the deposit and rider requirements were not met, that was all."
