Foy Vance back in spring

Foy Vance is back on tour this spring, road testing his new material which is set for release later this year. After the success of 'Shed A Little Light', which was the last single to be taken from his debut album 'Hope' and a busy year touring, Foy took some down time to focus on writing and recording new songs for his as yet untitled second album.

He has also been collaborating with Belfast based producer David Holmes, on an additional project which is proving to be a labour of love for them both and the fruits of which will be released as a further album. In the midst of all of this, Foy has also found time to write the music for two short and one feature film.

Two brand new limited edition EPs are also in the works which will initially be available for sale exclusively at the tour shows.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Foy is taking his songwriting craft to the next level while maintaining his trademark qualities. On the forthcoming tour we can expect to hear him showcase some of his new material alongside fan favourites such as 'Homebird', 'Gabriel & The Vagabond', 'Indiscriminate Act Of Kindness' and 'Be With Me'.

As a special guest for this tour, excluding all Irish dates and London Dingwalls, Foy welcomes Ivor Novello Award winning singer-songwriter, Iain Archer who picked up an award in 2005 for Snow Patrol's 'Final Straw' album. Iain's new solo album 'To The Pine Roots' is released on March 23rd

The tour starts on Easter Monday, April 13th in Guildford with 15 dates finishing off in Cork on May 5th.
