Franz Ferdinand are being persued by a debt collector over an unpaid £676 restaurant bill.
Restaurant owner Andy Steel claims they still owe him that amount for a celebration wedding meal in April.
The Glaswegian foursome, whose hits include Take Me Out and Michael, recently scooped the £20,000 Mercury Music Prize and vowed to hand it over to charity.
Andy, 32, reckons they should use some of the cash to pay his bill. He said: "I just got fobbed off so I've got a debt collector trying to pursue it."
Drummer Paul Thomson, 27, and his bride Esther, celebrated at Andy's Frocks restaurant in Hackney's east London running up the bill.
A band spokesman said Paul had been busy but would pay up.
He said: "He's been aways so much for the past six or seven months that he's not been able to keep track of his bank account."
