Franz Ferdinand - Glasgow sold out!

Franz Ferdinand have sold out their show at the SECC in Glasgow on Sat the 18th Dec and due to the exceptional demand have added an extra show at The SECC on Sunday the 19th Dec.

The band, currently in the middle of a sell out UK tour, made an emotional return to their native Glasgow on the 15th & 16th October when they played three sell out shows at the legendary Barrowlands ballroom. The dates included a hugely successful matinee show on the afternoon of the16th for an audience of under 18's.

The current UK tour is set to culminate in three sold out nights at London's Brixton Academy on October 28th, 29th & 30th. The band then head over to Europe in November before returning to the USA and Japan in early December before heading back to Glasgow for their last shows of the year.

The band plan to head into the studio in early 2005 to begin work on their second album. It has yet to be decided who will produce the album despite press speculation linking the band to a number of producers. A number of new songs including This Boy, Your Diary and Can't Stop Feeling have been showcased at shows over the summer although it is undecided if they will make the album.
