Franz Ferdinand join Selector Festival

New festival held in Krakow, Poland on 5-6 June 2009 announced its line-up. First edition of new-born child will host artists like: Franz Ferdinand, Orbital, Röyksopp, CSS, Fischerspooner, Dizzee Rascal and New Young Pony Club along with top dj's and live acts.

Festival will be focused mainly on electronic and dance acts, but dancefloor friendly rock acts will also have their slots. Apart from the big names there's a plenty of space for a new, fresh and innovative sounds, so you can expect more international acts to be announced. In further years programme will be extended with art and multimedia.

It's a perfect way to start the festival summer in perfect location - Krakow is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, known for it's outstanding architecture and art. Although festival is situated in green fields of central part of the town, it's the indoor event held in 2 big concert tents (with space for more than 15,000 people).

Low ticket price is worth a mention. 2-day ticket costs 200 PLN (around 42 EUR),
1-day ticket costs 135 PLN (around 28 EUR).

Selector is promoted by festival specialists - Alter Art, responsible for two biggest Polish summer festivals: Heineken Open'er Festival (Gdynia) and Coke Live Music Festival (Krakow) so you can expect a lot.
