Atticus Clothing have teamed up with Welsh Rockers Funeral For A Friend on a special one off co-branded polo. To celebrate it's launch the band will be performing a one off show at the Old Blue Last in London on the 1st of October in what will be the 5th of the Atticus DIY series.
Gig entry is free but here's the catch - invites will only be sent to the bands MySpace, Facebook and Bebo friends and posted on the bands iLike page later this week. So you've got to be in it to win it. We will randomly select 70 replies across the board from those who get their replies in first (or in the case of iLike who post on the fan wall) and those lucky people will have their names added to the guest list on the door. There will be no +1s, so one entry per person. If you want to be in with a chance of getting into this ace gig make sure you're a member of one or all of the above official groups/pages and watch out for an announcement in the coming days.
The "Stockwell" Polo is part of Atticus new AW08 range and will feature the bands logo on the inside neck. Each polo will also come with an exclusive swingtag that will give the owner access to an exclusive track from the band. Atticus have also teamed up with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and In Flames on Co-branded items for this season. The brand has had a long running involvement with the world of music and these co-branded pieces just further example it's ability to work alongside artist on projects that push their relationships beyond cold product placement and sponsorship.
The Atticus DIY Series has already seen sweat drenched sets from Gallows, Cancer Bats, Madina Lake and The Automatic amongst others, and this one will be no different. With the Old Blue Last's tiny capacity and a supporting bill of rising stars The Ghost Of A Thousand and Young Guns, this promises to be a night to remember for the lucky few that get in.
