Country superstar Garth Brooks lent a hand building and repairing houses in Birmingham, Albama as part of the Habitat For Humanity project.
Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood helped out hundreds of volunteers as part of the project that was founded by former US President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn.
The project is currently building ten new homes and an additional eighteen homes will be repaired in the Fairfield and Wylam Oaks subdivisions of Birmingham. Throughout the week volunteers did the same in Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Annapolis and MD, Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN.
Brooks and Yearwood have volunteered for the project in Los Angeles and the Gulf Coast before.
