Gene Simmons ‘begged women for sex’

Gene Simmons used to have to "beg" women to be with him, says KISS guitarist Ace Frehley.

Ace has written a tell-all book on KISS and their exploits entitled No Regrets.

The book is released tomorrow and offers some shocking insights into the band and in particular bassist and vocalist Gene Simmons.

"I believe Gene is a sex addict, in much the same way I am an alcoholic," Ace writes. "If you've been with only one or two women (and had to beg for whatever you got off them), it must be intoxicating to suddenly have groupies falling all over you."

Ace - also known as Spaceman - alleges Gene's frequent bed-hopping led to some nasty medical issues.

"[Gene] would f**k almost anything," Frehley explained. "Short, tall; plump, svelte; attractive, merely tolerable.

"[He] seemed to live in a state of perpetual infestation."

Gene is currently starring in A&E reality TV show Gene Simmons Family Jewels. He has recently married Shannon Tweed after nearly three decades together.

However, the rock god didn't seem to mind Ace's revelations. Gene continued to show support for Ace and his battle with alcohol and cocaine addiction.

"Fact: Ace has been a drug addict and alcoholic for 35 years," he told the New York post in response to the comments. "Fact: We love Ace and wish him all the best."
