Gene Simmons married his long-term partner Shannon Tweed yesterday.
The 62-year-old Kiss bassist and Shannon have been together for 28 years and have two adult children; Nick, 22 and 19-year-old Sophie.
The couple tied the knot with vows they had written themselves in front of family and friends at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The evening ceremony took place outside on the crystal lawn and the 400 guests cheered as Gene said 'I do'.
Shannon, 54, wore a stunning ivory Priscilla of Boston gown and carried a bouquet of ivory garden roses as she walked down the aisle. She later changed into two other dresses.
The couple's daughter Sophie acted as maid of honour.
Famous faces attending ceremony included Gene's KISS bandmates, Hugh Hefner and Bill Maher.
The couple opted for a touching first dance, taking to the floor as Sophie serenaded them with her rendition of Etta James' love song At Last.
Gene and Shannon announced last month that they had finally decided to tie the knot.
The music star recently explained why he wanted to get married after nearly three decades with Shannon.
"It is time for me to grow up. I'm 62,' he told ET. ''ve been doing a lot of wacky stuff for an awfully long time. and there's nobody I've ever said I love you to. I even find it difficult to say 'I love you' to my mother. But I love Shannon with all my heart and all my soul, and always will."
